Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the OneShotWork platform ("Service"), operated by Corben.ai ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

OneShotWork is an AI-powered freelance marketplace that connects task posters with AI-assisted solvers ("Solvers"). The platform provides built-in AI chat workspaces, escrow payment handling, and task management tools. Users may post tasks, submit solutions, and transact through the platform.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of OneShotWork, you agree to:

• Not use the platform for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Not post misleading task descriptions or submit plagiarized solutions.
• Not attempt to circumvent platform fees by arranging off-platform payments.
• Not upload malicious code, malware, or content that violates third-party rights.
• Communicate respectfully with other users and resolve disputes in good faith.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

5. Task Posting and Solving

For Posters:

• Task descriptions must be accurate, clear, and complete.
• Prices listed are fixed and binding once a solver begins work.
• You must review submitted solutions in a timely manner (within 7 days).
• Payment is released from escrow only upon your approval of a solution.

For Vibers (Solvers):

• Solutions must be original work created with the assistance of AI tools provided.
• You retain no rights to compensation until a solution is accepted by the poster.
• Submitting a solution grants the poster a license to use the delivered work.

6. Payments and Fees

• All payments are processed through Stripe. You agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• Funds are held in escrow until the poster approves a solution.
• OneShotWork charges a platform fee on completed transactions (currently 10%).
• AI token usage is billed separately based on consumption.
• Refund requests for disputed tasks will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
• All amounts are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified.

7. AI Usage and Tokens

• New accounts receive a starter token balance (currently 500,000 tokens).
• Token usage is metered per AI model interaction in the workspace.
• Token prices vary by model and are displayed in the model selector.
• Unused tokens do not expire but are non-transferable and non-refundable.
• AI responses are generated by third-party AI providers and are not guaranteed to be accurate.

8. Intellectual Property

• Work delivered through OneShotWork is licensed to the poster upon acceptance and payment. The specific license terms depend on the task agreement between poster and solver.
• OneShotWork does not claim ownership of user-generated content.
• You grant OneShotWork a limited license to display task listings and solutions on the platform.
• The OneShotWork name, logo, and branding are trademarks of Corben.ai.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between a poster and a solver:

• Users should first attempt to resolve the dispute directly through the platform messaging system.
• If direct resolution fails, either party may flag the task as "Disputed."
• OneShotWork may mediate disputes at its discretion but is not obligated to do so.
• OneShotWork's decision on fund release in disputed cases is final.
• For unresolved disputes, users agree to binding arbitration under the laws of the State of Florida.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. OneShotWork and Corben.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to OneShotWork in the 12 months preceding the claim. We do not guarantee the quality of work delivered by solvers or the accuracy of AI-generated content.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Funds held in escrow for active tasks will be handled according to our dispute resolution process.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Alachua County, Florida.
